Celebration
Albanian Independence Celebration
Our largest night of the year — the flag, the anthem, traditional dance, and dinner together.
Albanian-American Community
Albanian-American families across Greater Houston, together since 1998.
Community is the whole point. Everything else — the school, the events, the fundraising — exists so that people who share a language and a history are never far from one another.
Traditional dance, music and dress are not museum pieces here. They are taught, worn and performed, at our own celebrations and at Houston's wider cultural events where we are proud to represent Albania and Kosovo.
We organise food drives, we help newly arrived families find their footing, and we turn out for causes across Houston that have nothing to do with Albania at all — because this city took us in.
Young Albanian-Americans carry two identities at once. Our youth programmes give them the confidence to do that well, and the support to one day lead the community that raised them.
We work alongside other Houston cultural and civic organisations, and with Albanian-American associations across the United States.
